How To Have The Best Engagement Session With Pets

April 29, 2019

When a couple asks me if they can bring their pets to their engagement session my immediate response is HECK YES. I don’t have pets myself, but my husband and I did have a hedgehog named Pippin, he was the best. I know how sentimental pets are to couples, especially if they’ve had them the entirety of the relationship, if it was a childhood pet, or if they got the pet together. No matter the pet, I’m always game.

Nicky and Logan’s all Alaskan wedding was simply amazing! Their entire relationship is an adventure in and of itself and their wedding day was nothing less than a result of that. To begin with, they chose Majestic Valley Lodge as their venue, which is located at Milepost 114.9 along the Glenn Highway in the most […]

February 8, 2019

Whew!! Getting some greenery and beaches up in this blog is a breath of fresh air since the last few have been frigid. This sweet session in Queen Liliuokalani Gardens in Hilo, Hawaii is a total dream! I had so much fun working with Levi and Shakti, they were all laughs and smiles and down for anything.

Would you believe it if I told you that this was shot in December of 2017?! Well, crazy enough, it was! It straight up looked like fall out on the river bed that day after a huge thaw we got. Chelsa and I were living for it though! It was windy and rainy, but Jordan and Steve toughed it out just for this couples session.

Romantic Couples Canoe Session at Eklutna Lake

January 4, 2019

This sweet couples canoe session at Ekluna Lake completely filled my cup last year. Krista & Ben are such a fun couple and were ready and willing to follow my lead. Even if that meant walking in the chilly Alaskan waters.

Romantic Alaska Elopement Inspiration

November 19, 2018

This Alaska elopement styled collaboration filled my cup and then some. I’ve always been obsessed with fairytales, candles, dimly lit romantic scenes, and everything in between. When I first drove past this park in Sutton back in 2015, I knew I had to shoot there

,Christa and Michael are truly a perfect match. They are dog-loving, beer-drinking, adventure-seeking, and Netflix watching kinda people, it’s the best! It always makes me so happy when couples personalize their session. Bringing their dogs along was a big part of it for them, and that just made it all the more special! Also, they […]

Surprise Proposal at Alyeska Resort

July 16, 2018

When Blake reached out to me about a surprise proposal to his girlfriend at the top of the tram at Alyeska Resort, I was so freaking psyched! They were visiting Alaska to get some skiing and adventuring in to celebrate their 8th anniversary (how sweet is that?!). Blake reached out to me about a week prior and we started ironing out all details and trying to figure out how to set this up without cluing her in.

Kaitlyn and Ron decided to go for an intimate wedding out at Eklutna Lake in late October and let me tell you, it was so sweet!! It was a cloudy day with the sun peeking through the clouds on occasion. There was a light breeze creating soft ripples across the almost glassy water and the blue snow-capped mountains stood out in the landscape against the post-fall trees and branches, it was lovely.
